Type of data processed and purpose of the processing

1. Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire some personal data during normal operation which are then implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This is information which by its nature could, through associations and processing with data held by third parties, allow users/visitors to be identified (e.g. IP address; domain names of the computers used by users/visitors who connect to the site, etc. ).

These data are used only for statistical information (therefore they are anonymous) and to check the correct functioning of the site. They are deleted immediately after processing.

The data on web contacts are not stored, however, for more than 30 days except for any investigations of computer crimes against the site. No data deriving from the web service will be communicated or disseminated.

2. Cookies

Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature. Cookies or markers are packets of information sent by a web server (e.g. the site) to the user's Internet browser, automatically memorized by the latter on the computer and automatically sent back to the server at each subsequent access to the site.

The use of c.d. session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.

The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

This site also uses persistent cookies, i.e. cookies that remain stored on the computer's hard drive until they expire or are canceled by users/visitors. Deleting cookies does not preclude the use of the sites and/or applications indicated above.

Through persistent cookies, users/visitors who access the site (or any other users who use the same computer) are automatically recognized at each visit.

Users/visitors can set their computer browser to accept/reject all cookies or display a warning whenever a cookie is offered, in order to evaluate whether to accept it or not.

By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, you can change the default configuration, which with browsers (such as Internet Explorer version 6.0) is the medium one, and disable cookies (i.e. block them definitively), by setting, in the appropriate tab ("Privacy"), the highest level of protection (Very High), but we inform you that disabling it compromises the use of the Service.

In any case, you also have the option of deleting (or eliminating) the cookies from your personal computer by selecting the "General" tab from the "Internet Options" item in the Tools menu and clicking on the <> button. Deleting cookies does not preclude the use of the Service, but involves repeating the authentication procedure, or re-entering your login credentials.

If you want to decide from time to time whether or not to accept cookies, you can also configure your browser to generate a warning every time a cookie is saved.

The karagroup.it site allows the transmission of cookies from different sites or web servers (so-called "third-party" cookies) that the user/visitor could receive on his terminal: this happens because elements such as, for example, example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. In other words, these cookies are set directly by website managers or servers other than our site. Kara Group srl is unrelated to the operation of "third-party cookies", the operation of which falls under the responsibility of such third parties.

Processing methods

The treatment is carried out through automated tools (e.g. using electronic procedures and supports) and/or manually (e.g. on paper support) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and in any case, in compliance with the regulations in force on the matter.

Optional provision of data

Apart from that specified for navigation data, users/visitors are free to provide their personal data. Failure to provide such data can only make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.
